September 2015, BRATTLEBORO, VT — Howard Printing, Inc., was chosen as a winner in the 2015 Premier Print Awards Competition, presented by the Printing Industries of America (PIA). PIA awarded Howard Printing a Certificate of Merit for the Landmark College 2014 Viewbook.

“This year marks the 66th year of this annual and most prestigious international print competition,” said Michael Makin, PIA president and CEO. “Of the more than 2,400 entries received this year, the work of Howard Printing, Inc., was chosen as that which exemplifies some of the highest standards in the printing industry.”

According to PIA, “The Premier Print Award goes to those firms who demonstrate a unique ability to create visual masterpieces. Chosen from thousands of entries, each represents the unique partnership between designer and printer, need and creativity, technology and craft.”

The Landmark College Viewbook was designed by Howard Printing’s own graphic design and prepress specialist Benjamin Briggs, working closely with Landmark College Director of Marketing and Communications Mark DiPietro and his colleagues.

Located in Putney, Vermont, Landmark College was the first institution of higher education to pioneer college-level studies for students with dyslexia. Today it is the leader in creating successful learning strategies for students with learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), ADHD, and ASD.
