Take a Look at Three New Paper Options

We have three new paper options to bring to your attention, in case they are of interest for any of your upcoming projects.

First of all, a more digital-friendly NCR paper is now available for your small-quantity carbonless forms to run on our digital printer. The paper is crafted with vegetable-oil-based capsules and contains recycled fiber from sustainably managed forests, yet still retains a brightness and consistency of quality.

As we reported in a previous newsletter, coated paper options are becoming more and more environmentally friendly. Two new lines from Mohawk include Loop Silk Coated and Knightkote Matte, both of which are produced from pulps from sustainably managed forests.

According to Mohawk, the Loop integrates “the best-selling items from Mohawk Synergy, Genesis, Passport, and Proterra in a single, comprehensive line.” The Loop Silk Coated is made with 50% post-consumer waste fiber and is a 92-bright white.

The Knightkote Matte contains 30% post-consumer waste fiber and includes elemental-chlorine-free pulps in acid-free and chlorine-free manufacturing conditions to meet archival standards.

Since the Knightkote and Loop are new paper choices, their availability may be limited for now (i.e., even cartons only).
